"These are my first pair of fivefingers shoes. I almost ordered the wrong size,but right before I ordered, I measured my feet and used the chart. My longest foot is 10 inches,so the correct size is 40 or 41. I was going to order a 46 or 47,because I thought I was closer to 11 34 inches,which is my US shoe size. That is a big size difference,so make sure you use the chart correctly. I am very happy with these shoes,they are comfortable,stylish and tough. I have been wearing sandals for more than 15 years,because I needed the protection. I also do not like how dirty bare feet get on trails,sidewalks and on roads. Bare feet are not allowed in most stores,so Fivefingers are good for that to. I am not a runner,but I walk a lot. I used to have a lot of pain in my left foot from plantar fasciitis,but it is gone now. I like these shoes so much,that I am planning on buying the FiveFingers Bormio zip boot ,when they come out this fall."

"I love these! They were a little tricky to get on the first few times, and I over did it by running way too long the first time I went out and could barely walk for 3 days after. But since then I've toned it down and I can already feel my running stride getting better. It's just like being barefoot! Plus I wear them to work and they are always a conversation starter. If you're curious about barefoot running at all these are a great item to have."

"I recently ordered a pair of these shoes online, although I have yet to receive them. I just wanted to let people know that if they are going to buy them online that the sizing chart is all wrong. I wear a size 9.5 to 10 shoe and my foot measured to about 9 5/8", which according to the chart would make me a size 39 in the KSO. However, I was able to try some on in a store and the 39 wouldn't even go over my heel. I had to try multiple other sizes before finding the right fit in a size 41-42. My mother who is a size 7 fit into a 39. If at all possible you should try the shoes on in the store before purchasing them online.
Aside from the sizing problem the shoes themselves are great. I've walked around in a few pairs, they take some getting used to, but they are great overall."
